Introduction to Meditation
March 9, 16, and 23 | 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
The activity of zazen (Japanese for “seated meditation”) lies at the very heart of Zen Buddhist practice and reflects the boundless wisdom of Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment thousands of years ago. This incredibly subtle practice has much to offer the modern student, but navigating the challenges and delusions produced by our conditioned minds is no easy task. Join Anthony Nentetsu Yuschak for a three-part series on introductory meditation instruction and a discussion of the benefits, challenges, and meaning of this powerful practice.
