Introduction to Meditation
March 25, 2023 | 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The activity of zazen (Japanese for “seated meditation”) lies at the very heart of Zen Buddhist practice and reflects the boundless wisdom of Shakyamuni Buddha’s enlightenment thousands of years ago. This subtle and profound practice has the power to uproot delusion, but navigating the challenges produced by our conditioned minds is no easy task. In this workshop, Anthony Nentetsu Yuschak will present the foundational principles of zazen, provide participants with detailed instruction, and allow ample time for questions and discussion.
PLEASE NOTE: While this is an introductory workshop, all practitioners are invited to attend and use this time to refresh, renew and deepen their practice during this Spring Ango period.
