COVID-19 Guidance

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has determined that transmission rates for COVID-19 in both Delaware County and surrounding counties is low, and that this is an ongoing pattern. Furthermore, the federal public health emergency will end Thursday, May 11, 2023. Given all of this information, the Soji board has determined that effective immediately the use of masks will be optional for in-person practice at the zendo. We will no longer require proof of vaccination to enter the zendo.

Members and visitors are still very welcome to wear a mask and Soji will continue to have masks on hand. We ask that anyone who is ill, especially with fever, chills, and cough, choose to stay home until they feel better. Remember, the Virtual Zendo is available for sitting and events. Please take care of yourself and others!

Soji reserves the right to ask members and visitors to return to masking if Covid or flu levels rise significantly. Staying up-to-date with vaccines remains the most important way to prevent the serious complications from COVID-19.
